The BCRC of PA Headquarters Grand Opening is Saturday February 21 from 10am - 1pm. We will be serving coffee and donuts.

We will also be hosting a candidate nomination petition signing event this Tuesday February 17th from 4:30pm-7:30pm. Come to our new headquarters and meet JD Longo, Mayor of Slippery Rock and Scott Presler from Early Vote Action.
United Republicans of Butler County and Butler County Republican Committee of PA will be hosting the 2026 Lincoln Day Dinner on March 19th!

If you are interested in running as a Republican candidate in 2026 visit the Butler County Bureau of Election site for information on how to obtain a petition to get on the 2026 primary Election ballot.
Here are some important dates:

Feb 17 First day to circulate and file nomination petitions

Mar 10 Last day to circulate and file nomination petitions

Mar 17 Last day to file objections to nomination petitions

Mar 18 Day for casting of lots for primary ballot positions

Mar 25 Last day for candidates filing nomination petitions to withdraw

May 4 Last day to REGISTER to vote before the primary

May 19 PRIMARY ELECTION

The Butler County Commissioners meet every other Wednesday in the Butler Courthouse.
The next meetings are at 10 am on the following dates:
